As one of the founding partners of the United Christian Services food pantry in Russells Point, Galilee remains committed to helping feed local families. The first Sunday of each month is HOPE Sunday. While food can be donated every Sunday, there is a particular focus on HOPE Sunday. On that Sunday we gather all the food donated from during the past month and prior to donating it, we bless it, and pray for those who will receive it that it may bless their lives.

NEIGHBORHOOD OUTREACH PROGRAM
Galilee hosts one of two Outreach Programs at the lake. Neighborhood children gather two nights a week during the school year for homework help, tutoring and snacks. During the summer they gather several days a week for community service projects, fun activities and lunch.
OUTREACH CENTER PICNIC
Each year the children and families served by our Outreach Center gather for an end of the summer picnic, complete with boat rides provided by members of Galilee
OUTREACH CENTER CHRISTMAS PARTY
The children and families served by the Outreach Center gather each Christmas for a Pizza dinner, to sing Christmas Carols, and to see Ole St. Nick. Santa presents each child with two gifts (one containing toys and one containing clothing) that have been generously donated by members of Galilee and another local congregation.
JOY is our ministry to and with older adults in our community. We meet once a month for a night of food, fun and fellowship. We offer a free dinner, followed by a fun game night in which individuals can choose between playing Left Right Center, which is a fun dice game, BINGO with free prizes offered or a variety of card games such as Euchre and Bridge. We eat, we laugh and we enjoy each other's company. Come and join us for these nights of JOY!
